Chicken Farming Project Gives Hope to Seniors

The Chicken Farming Project in China continues to enable more women to run their chicken businesses successfully.

Last October 21st marks another momentous event in the Captivating world! Through the 15th Annual Charity Auction in Shenzhen, 530 people came together to help improve the lives of young girls, moms, and their children. Together, we’ve DREAMED for new possibilities, BELIEVED that we can make a difference, and ACHIEVED our goal of helping 1,000 lives across China.
Thanks to the success of this night, combined with funding from other Captivating key donors and supporters, over the coming 12 months…
• 180 struggling moms will be trained in Captivating’s Pigs, Poultry & Prosperity Program. This gives them the opportunity to increase their monthly earning capacity, benefiting their 360+ children and aging parents as a result.
• 600 underprivileged students in remote Sichuan, Yunnan, Guangxi, and Guizhou will be supported through another year of senior high or vocational school.
• 30 women from remote locations will be trained as professional tailors in the Husky Energy Tailoring Skills Program for Women, increasing their potential to earn more home-based family income
• Over 1,000 primary school students across remote locations will have a volunteer teacher help them through this next year. 30 teachers will be supported.
From all of us at Captivating, congratulations to all of us, and thank you!
