The Incredible Progress of Women in the Husky Energy Tailoring Skills Program
Over the past month since the Husky Energy Tailoring Skills Program for Women started, the students have diligently punched in every day.
Depending on your upbringing, you either (1) can’t stand the sight of this pig; or (2) you’re reaching for the eggs.
For me, it’s all about the story. See, I know that this particular pig marks the end of poverty for the mom and baby in the below photo. This sow will produce up to 20 piglets a year which will be sold at market. This baby will grow up to get the education she deserves (along with regular servings of bacon and eggs I imagine). Happy Days.
