Reaching 4,000 Families

We were able to reach 4,000 families with our field partner HONOR 1000’s Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC) information and activity booklet. Children International is a local NGO and assists these families in their educational needs. Are are proud to be able to assist them through training the parents on how to guide their children in their online classes and use of internet. In the coming months, we will continue to partner with Children International to reach a total of 15,000 families from at-risk communities in Metro Manila.

From Begging on the Streets to Being a High Achiever in School

When we first met Jemhaima and her mother, they were loitering on the streets, begging and scavenging for food from garbage cans. Jemhaima shared that begging and scavenging made her feel ashamed, but since her mother couldn't attend and finish school, it was their only way to survive. Attending school was not a priority for Jemhaima and her family.
