In this quarter, the Ramauli school was provided with library books and sports materials to support the holistic development of students. The principal expressed her gratitude towards the organization for the books and the sports material. He shared that the library acts as a bridge to eliminate the gap between a student’s curiosity to know more and what they are taught in school. As the storehouse of knowledge, the students can find plenty of books to gain knowledge outside of their curriculum. Sports are also equally important for them for their holistic development, which gives refreshment for them to reenergize too. This will play a vital role in shaping their future to be a whole person.
One of the students that is grateful for these new resources is Shanta Maya. She is a scholar of the Captivating Village Project and she expresses gratitude towards the organization. In the recent follow-up, she expressed her thankfulness for the library. She shared that the library offered free classes where one could learn a new skill or craft, or explore career development opportunities.
“Library provided a quiet study space for students which is important for students like me. I cannot afford new books even though reading is my passion. In the library, I can read all I want.”
Shanta expressed her happiness for all the support in her life which is beyond her dreams. This was only possible with the help of Captivating International.
