School students benefit from new anti-human trafficking program
Schools throughout Nepal are participating in a new program called ‘Hamro Abhiyan’. This program is run by our partner 3 Angels Nepal and is being readily accepted in both public and private schools.
Hamro Abhiyan is a Behavioral Change Communication tool that discusses sensitive issues like causes of trafficking, its consequences, safety against trafficking, rehabilitation after rescue and prevention against trafficking through informative edutainment methodology. This program is designed to reach people between the ages of 13-35 and is a key part in the work of PREVENTION in the fight against human trafficking.
