My Internship with Captivating

My name is Danmei Luo. I am a sophomore majoring in Game design from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. This winter break I had the opportunity to do an internship with Captivating International.

My first day at Captivating, Vivian told me about the charity events that Captivating holds each year. This was also my first contact with any charity organizations. I was impressed by one of the programs- Pigs for Poverty Program, because not only did we help poor families financially, we also teach the family how to raise better piglets. As an old saying goes, Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. After hearing people receiving help from Captivating, I am so proud that I was part of this great mission.

DanMei (2)I assisted with the design project for the coming Captivating Kidz with heart event this April. I have designed posters, flyers, t-shirts and backdrops etc. I am so thankful for this great opportunity because I was able to put my skills to contribute to charity. After reviewing all the great photos in the previous events, I wish I could participate in this event. I am sure that Kidz with Heart event this year will be successful.

Although I have only been interning for two weeks, I feel very robust energy from the team. I will bring this energy back to my school and be an influence for my peers. I know that Captivating will touch and change more lives and make a bigger difference around us. Thank you, Captivating.

My Internship with Captivating International

Annisha Sidhu writes: "When I first arrived in Shenzhen, I was overwhelmed by how hectic and busy the city was. After being excited for so long, it felt so surreal to actually be here. After graduating from university in the UK, I was really excited to start my internship, and Captivating International didn’t disappoint. From the moment I stepped foot in the office, I was made to feel like part of the team. I had the warmest welcome and felt so comfortable with everyone straight away."
