The Hamro Abhiyan program we continuously conduct in Nepal aims to raise awareness among Nepali youth regarding the threat and dangers of human trafficking. To execute the campaign, our implementing partner, 3 Angels Nepal, coordinates with various schools and community groups to effectively prepare for the program so that it could result in maximum impact.
Emmanuel Secondary School

Last June 4, we ran the program at Emmanuel Secondary School in Gandaki province, where 70 students from grades 8 to 10 directly participated. The faculty members also observed the program, with one promising to further solidify the students’ learnings by conducting human trafficking-related projects and organizing an anti-trafficking rally in their community.
Four days after, on June 8, the team conducted one more event at View Point Secondary Boarding School with the participation of 118 students from grades 7 to 10. After completing the program, one student raised his hand and shared, “Attending the event provided me and my friends with all the knowledge and ways to speak out against any violations of society and human rights.” He concluded by saying, “My friends and I are now ready to speak out against such violations.”
This kind of feedback encourages and motivates our team; shows us that every program we run creates a much more significant impact on society by engaging one student at a time.
