On July 12th, 2024, the Captivating Nepal (CN) team, Country Director, Program Manager, and Admin and Communication Officer, held a meeting with the Deputy Mayor of Panchkhal Municipality, Miss Surya Maya Danuwar. The meeting was also joined by the local education focal person, planning focal person and other representatives from the municipality.
The goal of the meeting was to introduce CN—what it is, its advocacies, and vision. It also clarified the missions and planned activities and long-term projects for the Captivating Village Development Program II in Panchkhal Wards 9 and 12. A presentation was delivered by CN’s Program Manager, Mr. Sagar Shahi.
This is great news because it shows how our network is growing in different local government units in Nepal! The more we build relationships with these localities, the more women and girls we can support and extend to their full potential.
