The Stop Cybersex Crime: Awareness and Education Program aims to educate and equip vulnerable communities to understand the risks of OSAEC and human trafficking, and identify signs of abuse and exploitation through our awareness campaigns in schools, churches, and communities.

When we are not conducting our seminars, we ensure to build relationships with our future collaborators to reach more communities. Just recently, we met with barangay officials in Pansol, Quezon City. It is their first time to formally hear about what we do, so we introduced them to our advocacies and ongoing efforts to prevent OSAEC.
Like we hoped, the officials were very interested in partnering with us! Right there and then, they immediately arranged a seminar for solo parents within their community. They also shared plans to extend this initiative by inviting us to conduct a seminar at a nearby school. Although the current school year has already ended, we look forward to initiating this once the new school year starts.

Not too far after, we made it happen! We successfully hosted a seminar attended by 60 solo parents from Brgy Pansol. They were very engaged and actively listened to our talk. We also distributed our OSAEC activity and information booklets, which will equip them to protect their children. Educating solo parents is important because they make very important decisions that will change the trajectory of the lives of their children. Because of that, it’s just right to equip them with the proper information in case of necessary early intervention, detecting red flags, and guiding their children to navigate the online world safely.
With the first successful event, we are looking forward to conducting more meaningful events with Brgy. Pansol!
