Before 2025 ended, our One Hope Microfinance Program team took the time to reflect on our milestones for the past year. We gathered for a special Christmas Lunch, taking time to pause and look back at all the challenges and successes that the year 2025 has brought.

During the gathering, everyone at the table was asked to reflect on their year. Each team member openly shared their challenges, yet still considered 2025 a good year. Those challenges were nothing to be ashamed of, but rather seen as necessary experiences that would make us stronger the next time we encountered them.

We posed another question about the year ahead: “Do you believe that the upcoming year will be better for the organization?” Interestingly, everyone responded positively. We all shared the same sense of optimism and commitment moving forward. This kind of shared spirit makes us feel like we can achieve greater heights and grow stronger as years pass.

Moments like these remind us that behind every story we share are staff who continue to show up, serve faithfully, and walk closely with the communities in Bataan. We are deeply grateful for another year of our partners’ and donors’ support. Because of these strong relationships, our team remains dedicated and earnest in reaching more mothers, strengthening livelihoods, and continuing the work together in the year ahead.
