The Hamro Abhiyan team executed an event at the SOS Hermann Gmeiner School. After carefully coordinating and analyzing the best time for both the school and the team, the event was attended by 119 students. Some grade school teachers and the school admin team also helped to manage the students, who keenly participated in the event. The school was delighted with the outcome.
Here’s some feedback and expressions from the event:
School Principal: After concluding the event, the school principal expressed gratitude to the young participants for their engagement in the practical awareness program. He noted that the event had not only impacted each participant but also the teachers, leaving them more deeply concerned about social issues. Sincerely, he acknowledged that his students were already involved in addressing various societal and global village challenges, and the guidance provided by the Hamro Abhiyan team had significantly enhanced their preparedness. He also discussed various societal obstacles to effectively combating human trafficking, while acknowledging their underlying causes.
Students of SOS feedback: According to the students of SOS, the campaign has fostered the belief among them that individuals who have experienced trafficking can indeed reconstruct their lives and successfully reintegrate into society. Furthermore, it encouraged young minds for critical thinking. This, in turn, contributes to their sense of responsibility as they actively engage in societal initiatives.
Our Hamro Abhiyan program is a continuous effort in Nepal to raise awareness among Nepali youth about the dangers of human trafficking. To execute the campaign, our implementing partner, 3 Angels Nepal, works with schools like SOS and community groups to effectively prepare for the program and achieve maximum impact.
