A New Start for Asha and her Son

“I got my hope back after I met My Business My Freedom”, says Asha. Asha, 43, used to run a gold and silver ornament shop. Her husband got into an accident so she sold her shop for the treatment. Unfortunately, her husband died. And then she lost her business. She struggled both mentally and financially. But she has a son so she had to find a way to keep going and provide for him. She decided to try and start a cosmetic and gift shop. While she was looking into business opportunities, she found out about My Business My Freedom.
After joining the program she was able to take her first microloan. This money was a sunbeam for her on her rainy days. She immediately started to add goods like bags, purses, and cosmetic items to her shop. After repaying her first loan, she was able to borrow another loan to continue expanding and growing her small business.
Now she earns good profit from the business and is able to afford necessary family expenses and raise her son. She is happy and very thankful to the My Business My Freedom program.
