Building Relationships With 20 New Microfinance Signups

March 8, 2024, is an eventful day for us and our Microfinance Team in Manila as we celebrate 20 new signups to our Honor 1000 Microfinance Program! The majority of these mothers come from Brgy. San Pablo and our trusted coordinators carefully screened them to ensure their dedication.

As we ruminate on our work, we realize that finding suitable officers in our fellowship groups is paramount. Officers must be dedicated and trustworthy, as they significantly affect the quality of participation of our members. Moreover, they are key players in building a solid and lasting relationship with our beneficiaries’ businesses.

Because of that, we appreciate our microfinance team’s continuous hard work and dedication to our cause. Extreme poverty is one of the reasons for human trafficking and abuse, and most impoverished people don’t also have access to commercial lending banks. This leads them to turn to unscrupulous loan sharks for financial help, and the cruelty that could happen when they cannot repay their loans is beyond imagination.

With these 20 new signups and an excellent microfinance team, we are optimistic about the impact we can make to make life safer for these women and their families.
