Captivating Everlyne Earns Her Degree

2014 finished on a high note for Captivating’s Kenya Project Manager – Everlyne Onwonga.  Everlyne graduated from a Bachelor of Commerce Degree – Finance option, receiving 2nd class upper honours.  She joined KCA (Kenyan College of Accountancy) in the 2010 after finishing a Certified Public Accounts certificate.  Everlyne states, “I have great passion for figures and I love what I do at Captivating.  With wide experience in various fields I am so proud I have been able to deliver and meet my professional goals having now finished this degree.  I now want to continue to learn more – joining a Masters degree in Development effective 2015 if possible.  I want to keep improving myself, achieve my goals and help those in need”.

Congratulations Everlyne on a great achievement.  We are very proud of you at Captivating and all you are doing.  We still remember your visit to us in China and your first experience of tasting new foods with chopsticks (see picture).  Since then you’ve continued to learn new things and achieve great milestones like this degree.  You are an inspiration to the many children you now serve in your capacity as Project Manager for Kisii, Kenya – children who will hopefully be as motivated as you to dream, push themselves, become independent and impact positively the world around them.

My Internship with Captivating International

Annisha Sidhu writes: "When I first arrived in Shenzhen, I was overwhelmed by how hectic and busy the city was. After being excited for so long, it felt so surreal to actually be here. After graduating from university in the UK, I was really excited to start my internship, and Captivating International didn’t disappoint. From the moment I stepped foot in the office, I was made to feel like part of the team. I had the warmest welcome and felt so comfortable with everyone straight away."
