My world is not limited to a small mountain village. I want to reach a distance I have never reached. I want to go to the top of the mountain to overlook the world and blow the night wind on the top of the mountain.
Learning is a long journey. On this path, there will be difficulties, obstacles, problems, but there are also many people who are encouraging me, helping me.
Yangkartso, 17, lives with his brother and mother. Her father died due to an accident at work when she was still a child. Her mother then sought jobs so she could continue supporting them and send them to school. However, when her brother fell ill, their family's financial difficulty increased and she had to drop out of school.
Puyuxia, 19, comes from a rural area. She lives with her grandfather who raised her by himself ever since she was a little girl. Puyuxia's father died in an accident while her mother left them in search of a better life.
On behalf of the Shenzhen Charity Federation, thank you so much for being a part of our 12th year, last Saturday, October 17th, 2020. And, once again, our thanks to the wonderful team at the Futian Shangri-la, Shenzhen.
Together, as a result of the generosity of everyone who attended, 1,000 lives (single moms, young women, and their children) will one day look back on 2020 as a turnaround year for them. A year of new beginnings and fortune.
What a night! We are so humbled by the generosity shown once again from our Shenzhen community. Saturday, 12th of October, once again working with the wonderful team at the Futian Shangri-la, Shenzhen, will be remembered by us for a long time.
Caihangji enrolled in the Vocational School Scholarship program in 2016 and majored in Medicine. After two years of hard study and 1 year internship, she graduated as one of the top 10 in her class of 29 students. She is now officially employed as a pharmacist and earns a good monthly salary. She is very excited about her new found independence and ability to earn good money.
