Right now, the Captivating Healthy Village Project is visiting remote villages and communities through Western China. This project is two-fold; 1) Much needed medical help is brought to these poor, remote locations, 2) Single mothers trapped in poverty and girls who are no longer in school are being discovered. This brings a wonderful opportunity to help in an even greater capacity. Here is a story of one mother who received greater help than she even dared to dream.

On the 2nd of April, 500 students, parents and teachers from the Shenzhen College of International Education (SCIE) walked 10km in just 2 hours to raise funds for Captivating. Together, they raised over RMB109,818. We think you are all amazing!

72 girls from various remote village locations of Western China are now back in school (and doing well) thanks to generous sponsors and a wonderful support charity called SHAMTSE. Each one of these girls had already dropped prematurely from school due to varying situations with all of them mourning the end of their dream of a higher education. Well, dreams can still come true it would seem.
