Computer Fun

Perhaps for most of us, computers along with a myriad of other gadgets and devices have become a basic necessity. For others, simply learning how to type and having the opportunity to master the skill is a privilege - one that is welcomed with much joy and excitement. One of our students from Seng Girls Vocational Training School shares her new-found interest and enjoyment in learning about computers.

Children's Day Celebration Bonfire Fun

The annual Children's Day Celebration brings an atmosphere of holiday happiness everywhere on the campus at Seng Girls Vocational Training School (SGVTS). Teachers and students worked together to gather the firewood. The fire was big and strong. Teachers and students formed a circle and began to do Guozhuang dance. This year's Children's Day ended in a happy Guozhuang dance!

Medical Internship

Dandur Tso comes from a family of 8 people. The family was in poverty and were not able to provide for their children. Dandur was accepted into the Seng Girls Vocational Training School in 2007. After six years of primary education, she was supported through a Medical school where she discovered her love of medicine. She is currently completing her internship in a hospital and will graduate in July 2019.

The chefs at SGVTS are like magicians!

The two chefs are like food magicians. They change the raw ingredients into the tastiest meals with rich flavors. We have two dishes each day for lunch. Each week we enjoy green pepper fry meat, fried potatoes, fried meat, fried cabbage, fried garlic bolt, fried eggs with tomato.

500 walkers from SCIE raise funds to see girls get back to school

On the 2nd of April, 500 students, parents and teachers from the Shenzhen College of International Education (SCIE) walked 10km in just 2 hours to raise funds for Captivating. Together, they raised over RMB109,818. We think you are all amazing!
