Nagmo is a bright young lady who loves to learn. That's why she is extremely grateful for getting the chance to return to school. She entered the Vocational School Scholarship Program in 2018, taking up Nursing. She shares her experience.

Yangtsokyid's Determination

In 2016, Yangtsokyid dropped out of school and helped her family by working at a clothing shop. She also did labor work at the construction site where her father works. But they weren't earning enough to provide for the family and her sick mother. She entered our Vocational School Scholarship Program in August 2019 where she studies Tibetan Medicine. She enjoys her experience and is doing well in her academics.

Fortunate Encounter

Gashangtar dreamed of becoming a teacher. However, she had to drop school after graduating from junior high. Her mother wasn't in good health and their income was not enough to continue sending her to school. She stayed at home to help with the housework and to graze the animals.

Gaining Experience and Making Memories

Sonam is part of the Vocational School Scholarship Program (VSS). One of the best things about the VSS project, aside from giving these girls the opportunity for their dreams to come true, is that they also gain experiences in extracurricular activities and make memories they will remember for a long time. Sonam shares her experience with us.

Cherishing New Opportunities

Sangje had to drop out of school three years ago because of financial difficulties. After her mother got divorced, they had to leave home, taking nothing with them - no cattle or sheep, and no grassland. All their mother had was her and her two other siblings.

New Found Independence and Sustainable Living

Caihangji enrolled in the Vocational School Scholarship program in 2016 and majored in Medicine. After two years of hard study and 1 year internship, she graduated as one of the top 10 in her class of 29 students. She is now officially employed as a pharmacist and earns a good monthly salary. She is very excited about her new found independence and ability to earn good money.
