Skill Building Brings Confidence

When women are equipped with employable / income-generating skills, we not only give them a chance to make a living for themselves and their families; we also help build their confidence in themselves and in what they are capable of. The My First Job Assistant Chef program is bringing skills and opportunities to young women.

Bringing Hope and Change to Lhamo

Lhamo is one of the current trainees at the My First Job Program. Although she admits that she learns at a relatively slower pace than the rest of the women, she is determined on improving herself. One of our staff, Francine, went to visit and chat with her to see how she's doing in the program.
