Reaching the community even further

3 Angels Community Radio (3ACR) staff are able to go out into the community and talk with local people and broadcast it over the airwaves using their portable recording transmitter. This opens many opportunities to connect with the local people and listen to their stories. The photo below is one of the 3ACR staff talking with a local tomato farmer about seasonal farming. This is a wonderful opportunity to share with the rest of Nepal, many of whom are farmers, practical tips and ideas to help with their own crop growing.

With much of Nepal in poverty, sharing best farming practice can help many families transform their gardens and farms to be more efficient, thus growing their income. The aim of the 3ACR team is to incorporate a broad range of helpful information in their broadcasts.

Captivating is the majority private funder of the operating costs of the 3ACR headquarters in Pokhara. In addition, we fund relay costs to multiple districts of Nepal. Thank you to the Velez family, the Shelton family, the Beveridge family, AF Sourcing, and Amrosia for your amazing support that enables the 3ACR team to continue broadcasting and reach further into communities in Nepal.
