Educated, Safe & Empowered
Sheena (*name changed for privacy) is one of the daughters at Women's Safe Haven who has set an impressive record for graduating high school.
Our partner radio platform in Nepal, 3 Angels Community Radio, is known for airing development-oriented programs that help educate and spread awareness about relevant issues. Moreover, we advocate happiness and positivity in our channel. One of the programs that do this is The Children Garden.
Have you ever heard of a Radio Kids’ Show? The Children Garden is a children-oriented program where our adorable participants showcase their talents, express themselves, and help inspire other child listeners.
Children will sing, tell stories, recite poetry, and play musical instruments throughout the show. It helps the participants boost their confidence and self-esteem as they share their dreams, aspirations, fears, and struggles.
Stories need to be told, and children are human beings, too. They also need to feel inspired, heard and included—and we believe that shows like this can help the little ones at home feel like there is a space for their thoughts, feelings, and aspirations.
And the best part? Our young listeners love it! We have received great feedback, and we are inspired to keep producing shows like this.
