HET: Tara’s Tailoring Story
We visited Tara, a Husky Energy Tailoring Skills Program graduate. Despite challenges, she is now thriving with two years in tailoring, sewing from home while caring for her daughter.
We had the 7th anniversary of our school in colorful August. August 20th, what a great day! On this day, every classmate was so excited. The smiles were on their faces. This year’s celebration is very special, anyone who participates in the activities has the opportunity to win a gold, silver, bronze medal, and other incentives. This is the time we take special moments to remember how lucky we all are and to remember all those at Captivating International who are so generous.
Younger girls were thrilled because they could eat a lot of good food which they can’t have daily, such as meat bun, yogurt, several kinds of fruit, and so on. A lot of games and competitions were held, like running, bicycle riding, table tennis, volleyball, football, badminton, rope skipping , shuttlecock. It was great to be alive and celebrate the joy of each others company as we get ready for another year of schooling.
