“Hi! I am very glad to receive your sponsorship. As I pick up my pen I am full of confidence, but as I start to write, I write with reverence and awe, for I do not know how to reciprocate your help, and in my heart, I feel that what I write are only words on paper, which are certainly not enough to repay you.
Last semester’s life was very wonderful. However, right at the beginning of this semester we were assigned to new classes, and inside my heart, I am very reluctant to be parted from my previous classmates. After I got home, I told my mother about this, and she said that everyone has a class that suits them most, and subjects that suit them most, this is no exception for me. I started to try and get involved in this new class like a newcomer, attempting to familiarize myself with the students in this new class, and even trying to make friends with them; I started to work hard, as I wanted to get into my dream university,
I know that one day I will have to leave my parents, for I need to be independent, so all I can do is to become stronger, so that I can take care of myself, and carry my responsibility.
Learning is a long journey. On this path, there will be difficulties, obstacles, problems, but there are also many people who are encouraging me, helping me. This made me work even harder, and feel more confident; also, it allows me to learn more things, and become better.”
Thank you to PCH for sponsoring Cheng.
