Long Fulin is one of the many students who are able to continue their studies through our One More Year Scholarship Program. This is her story.
“Hello! First of all, I am very grateful for your help.
Last semester, my grades were not top-notch. But after I know that I have a sponsor supporting me, I feel great that there are many good people in this society. Before the beginning of this semester, I didn’t have a clear goal and even wanted to give up. I am very lucky that I have a group of friends who really treat me with whole heart. So I am no longer confused and began to have hope and expectation for life, so I came to school with this feeling and began my new life!
Now I can well adapt to the rush of study and life in high school. “Work hard and you will gain!” This sentence has become my motto. I keep this hope and run forward. I began to believe that the future can be expected. My world is not limited to a small mountain village. I want to reach a distance I have never reached. I want to go to the top of the mountain to overlook the world and blow the night wind on the top of the mountain.
In recent years, due to the impact of the epidemic, both parents have been farming at home. Therefore, our family doesn’t have much income, but because there are many kind-hearted people like you, we are still optimistic about life and learned to treat the world gently. I can use this fund to buy some school supplies and reference books, try my best to improve myself and win a bright future. This subsidy stopped my family from worrying about daily necessities. It gave me a lot of help in my study. Finally, I sincerely thank you again for your help. I will always remember your kindness.”
Our thanks to PCH for sponsoring Long so that her dreams of an education can come true.
