OMY: Mose to Become A Doctor
Mose, a bright and determined student, dreams of becoming a doctor after witnessing her illiterate parents face discrimination at a hospital.
Since October, the Healthy Village Project has made 7 stops, covering 11 townships, and over 20 villages. One of the most recent Healthy Village Project locations had 300 people attend. The Doctor provided health checks to 210 women and gave much needed medicine. Many of these women have never had a health check and have been suffering with health issues for many years.
With one last stop to go, this project is continuing to make huge changes to the lives of women who live in remote, rural locations. These women and their families are grateful for the knowledge they receive and the time that is taken to talk with them, listen to their concerns and provide them with help. Our special thanks to ASBV Charity’s partnership to help make all this possible.
