Captivating China
China has taken incredible steps to eradicate extreme poverty. Still, in isolated remote locations, challenges remain.
Here are two key reasons why China needs our help:
Rural Disparities
Remote and rural regions in China face significant income and opportunity gaps, leaving many without basic needs and services. According to the 2018 Statistics Bulletin on National Economic and Social Development, the average income in urban areas is almost three times higher than in rural areas.
Inability to Progress
Women and mothers in rural areas often lack access to education and income-producing skills, leaving them working on family farms and caring for elders. For many, expenses exceed income, placing strain on the household. Girls in these families risk not finishing high school due to boarding costs and the pressure to support their families.
Our solution:
Be a part of the solution, protect lives, and transform futures!
Together, we can create a world where every person is valued, protected, and free from the threat of exploitation.
