OMY: Mose to Become A Doctor
Mose, a bright and determined student, dreams of becoming a doctor after witnessing her illiterate parents face discrimination at a hospital.
Right now preparations are well underway for the 4th Husky (now part of the Cenovus group of companies) Tailoring Program for Women, Qinghai Province, China. Chosen from among many applicants, 30 women from underprivileged backgrounds will eventually be selected as the next group to commence their training. These women will be considered “furthest from employment”, and this program will turn their lives around. Many, for the first time ever, will have the capacity to earn consistent income on their own terms.
Our thanks to the team at Cenovus for making this possible. Can’t wait to communicate the first day of the program (starting sometime next month). #happeningnow
Thank you to Cenovus for funding this project.
