SENG GIRLS VOCATIONAL SCHOOL & HOME UPDATE (SGVTS)

Scroll down to see our full 2011 report including Financial Summary.

The past 6 months has been a buzz of activity for this project.  The girls’ home still operates at maximum capacity with 100 girls living at the home in Qinghai.  An additional 19 girls are in various locations around China where better vocational development and advanced learning opportunities exist.  Our plans for this year are to push this number up to 30 girls outside of the home.  Highlights of the year so far for us have been the following:

As we move into the second half of the year, our thoughts move to project expansion to help more girls and women in this part of the world.  Discussions are in play with other organizations to consider poverty reduction strategies that will ensure more and more girls get to and stay in school.  This is the best possible way to bring them hope and a future.  To all our supporters, child sponsors and donors of this project, thank-you so much for all your continued support.  Real lives are being changed thanks to you.
