After a lot of preparatory work, the first My First Job Tailoring Project in 2022 was officially launched on January 15. This week marks the start of training for 30 women whose lives are about to change as they learn about the employable skill of tailoring.
In December 2021, the local coordinator completed the initial survey and selected 30 qualified trainees from more than 150 households. These women come from families who are in more difficult situations than the others, but have a strong willingness to participate in the training.
The cold winter may be piercing but the gratefulness of the women warms our hearts. This is just the start of a new learning journey for them and they really look forward to future careers in tailoring and clothes design. We also thank the village secretary and the training instructors who have cooperated with us in the past years for their strong support and return to this project once again this year.
