Yes! Captivating International is a registered charity of Australia (ABN 31 607 079 158), USA (EIN 82-4627776), and Hong Kong (91/09723). We operate in partnership with Global Development Group (ABN 57 102 400 993) for receipt of donations, project auditing, and compliance.

Donations over $2 are tax deductible in the USA and Australia; donations over $5 are tax deductible in New Zealand; and donations over $100 are tax deductible in Hong Kong.

For Australian and New Zealand residents, please note that donations for our China-based projects are not tax-deductible.

You will receive your tax receipt to the email you entered during the donation process, within a couple of minutes of completing your transaction.

Unfortunately, we do not have tax deduction agreements anywhere else in the world at this time. We’ll be sure to let you know if that changes.

Since 2021, over 90% of donations from supporters have gone directly to the projects they select.

At a consolidated global level, Captivating’s corporate services expenses (admin, fundraising, marketing, communications) amount to around 18-20% of total expenses in a typical year. However, we are fortunate that over 60% of these corporate services expenses are directly funded by a small number of generous donors, along with some unrestricted funding from our charity events.
