OMY: Mose to Become A Doctor
Mose, a bright and determined student, dreams of becoming a doctor after witnessing her illiterate parents face discrimination at a hospital.
Several weeks ago Project Eden made an exciting change. Several of our girls have started attending a local public school and are truly enjoying their new learning environment. Their new school focuses on Math, Chinese and English. Their original teachers from Project Eden help them with their homework each night for a few hours after dinner to provide extra support.
One of the goals of Project Eden is to create an environment where these students can transition into independent living with the loving assistance of teachers and staff as they do so. A wonderful opportunity has been presented to four of our older students who have started a work/study program. The girls leave early in the morning to go to work and then they arrive back home for their Computer, English and Chinese classes. So far the girls seem to be enjoying their new responsibilities and we are excited to watch them continue to grow and mature.
A few weekends ago, we were honored to have Andrew Colquhoun, as well as one of our project’s BIGGEST supporters, Greg, Anya and their precious daughter Sophie, out for a visit. The girls, the staff and our visitors had a lovely hike around the property, as well as a competitive game of basketball. We had such a wonderful time with you all!

Abo Mu'erza plans to continue raising chickens, using the income to support her children’s education and grow her business, alleviating her family’s financial burden.
Our beneficiary, Wu Jingmei, wrote to share how the One More Year Scholarship Program has brought new hope and opportunities to her life.
Jituo Moseniu, a devoted mother of three, works tirelessly on her farm to provide for her children, but her income of 20,000 yuan (USD 2,824) barely covers their needs. With hope in her heart, Jituo is determined to give her children a brighter future, and the support from the Pig Farming Program is helping her get there.
