New Sewing Machines for Vocational Training Classes
6 new sewing machines were purchased with thanks to the Fung (1906) Foundation. These were added to the new sewing room. The girls are very excited to start their classes again after the long cold winter and to be able to use these wonderful machines. They are learning so many things and are becoming competent seamstresses who are able to sew many different types of clothes and also be able to repair older clothes in order to get maximum life out of each garment.
Caterpillar Fungus Business
Caterpillar fungus is one of the most magical Tibetan/Chinese herbs. It is called the ‘Fountain of Youth’ and used in various ways and forms for almost every ailment known to man with claims it can efficiently deal with many sicknesses. It only grows in high altitude on the vast Tibetan Plateau (where the girls home is based). Thanks to Fung (1906) Foundation, the special fungus is being progressively purchased and packaged for sale in the markets. This Caterpillar Fungus Business has the potential to generate good profits and also create jobs for some of the SGVTS girls in the future. Our thanks again for your support.
