SPONSOR A GIRL TODAY and you’ll secure her a brighter future

Every child deserves the opportunity to grow and prosper in a safe and stimulating environment. Unfortunately, almost 70 million children across the world are not even able to experience basic schooling. Child Sponsorship is a practical way to aid a child who is out of school because of poverty or prejudice. At Captivating, Child Sponsorship connects you to an individual girl at the Seng Girls Vocational Training School (SGVTS).

In partnership LOVEQTRA (a Qinghai registered charity) Captivating has been supporting the work of the SGVTS since 2009. Since this project began, 236 girls have had their worlds expanded through their ability to attend school in this safe and supportive environment. Many are now attending advanced learning opportunities throughout China as a result, with girls now taking steps towards self-sustainability as mature and independent adults.

SGH-236 Dasel LhamoAs a sponsor of a girl at the Seng Girls Vocational Training School, you become an important part of the Captivating Child Sponsorship Family. US$40 shared sponsorship or US$80 full sponsorship per month is all it takes to make a big difference to not just your child, but to this whole community. Your monthly support is pooled together with all other donors to make this beautiful project function.

Currently, at the SGVTS there are 36 girls who are needing a sponsor. You’ll receive her story; an annual update on her progress; an interim update (sometimes a letter from her, or a photo colleague of what she’s been up to); monthly BLOG stories on the project as a whole and featured updates about this project in our Simply Captivating 6 monthly newsletter. Some donors like to write to their sponsored child and she will love hearing from you.

Lung and Dasel are two girls needing a sponsor. To sponsor a girl or find out more information about our program, please email francine@captivating.org. TAKE ACTION TODAY to sponsor a child and bring her hope of a better tomorrow.
