Teacher Zhou Makes His Students Smile

Zhou Shengqiang, a teacher from Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, is one of our remote volunteer teachers in China. This is the third semester of his serving at Aimj primary school, where his colleagues call him a “military counselor” because of how good he is at giving advice!
Teacher Zhou shows great passion for his work, which is very apparent in his several positions at their school. He is responsible for teaching Mathematics in grade two and Physical Education in grades one, two, and three this semester. Not only that, but Zhou is also the head teacher of grade two and responsible for information dissemination at their school.

As a teacher, Zhou is flexible, which helps him significantly influence his students to be more active in class. But as an individual, he is humorous, funny, and considered a happy nut to everyone around him.

Over 1,200 primary school students from remote rural schools wanted us to pass on a big “thank-you” for improving their education.
