Puyuxia, 19, comes from a rural area. She lives with her grandfather who raised her by himself ever since she was a little girl. Puyuxia's father died in an accident while her mother left them in search of a better life.

Caihangji enrolled in the Vocational School Scholarship program in 2016 and majored in Medicine. After two years of hard study and 1 year internship, she graduated as one of the top 10 in her class of 29 students. She is now officially employed as a pharmacist and earns a good monthly salary. She is very excited about her new found independence and ability to earn good money.

On the 2nd of April, 500 students, parents and teachers from the Shenzhen College of International Education (SCIE) walked 10km in just 2 hours to raise funds for Captivating. Together, they raised over RMB109,818. We think you are all amazing!

This month [July 2017], three girls from Project Eden who have been studying at the School of Electronics and Technology of Dongguan, have finished all their school-based courses and will be starting a one-year internship after this summer on-track to graduate in June 2018. Through the Captivating Project Eden schooling program, we have been thrilled to see their growth and development over the years thanks to lots of hard work by them, as well as amazing support from the team at Project Eden. Our thanks also to their dedicated sponsors and supporters, and of course Dockpo and the SGVTS team where the girls first got their chance at a new life several years ago now. Seng Girls Vocation Training School (SGVTS) is aiding 163 girls to further their education and acquire a future through skills and self development. 104 of these girls live in the girls school in Quinghai with the remaining spread across China in advanced learning opportunities. SGVTS has 14 teachers to help bring a strong education foundation to these girls who have had limited opportunity to go to school. Below is a letter from one of the teachers of the school.
